Read Psalm 119 and count the number of times the Word of God is said to be the delight, joy, longing, desire … of the author. Here is some samples:

Psalm 119:14 (ESV)
In the way of your testimonies I delight
as much as in all riches.

Psalm 119:24 (ESV)
Your testimonies are my delight;
they are my counselors.

Psalm 119:92 (ESV)
If your law had not been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.

Psalm 119:97 (ESV)
Oh how I love your law!
It is my meditation all the day.

How many more can you find? Does this reflect our attitude and approach to the Scriptures? Does our attitude show in how much we read it, believe it, know it and obey it?  More than we know.
